A deamon awakens~

After much thought I've decided to go over the few pictures I have selected to upload to deviantart. Hadn't edited them in any way and it seems many of them could/will look better with a bit of cropping and color balancing among other things. This means I might be replacing some of my old pictures with "upgraded" versions. Might take me a while seeing that I've taken a good 3.000 pictures in the 3 weeks I've had the camera.

On another note, thinking of buying myself a proper macro lense seeing that my 28-300mm lense is not really suited for the shots I take (excluding the immense amount of duck pictures I've taken, although I haven't really uploaded many of them (Maybe I should?)). Not sure if I should go for the best lenses or stay with the average lenses. My budget is abnormally high for someone with my average joes pay o.O

Not really sure what to say..

I started taking photographs late '08 after realising that the way I lived life till then was as pointless as could be. Worked as a low paying steelsmith 10+ hours a day 6 days a week with barely any free time for myself and without any friends whatsoever. Always been a loner.. Trying to change that now though, gradually. At least I have a decent paying job now moving frozen goods around outside the largest freezer in Iceland (forklift) and I've been gaining friends in the real world.

My free time is spent on photography, gaining new skills and learning new things (teaching myself Japaneese, programming and playing the piano) or simply listening to music and thinking about the wonders of the world. I also like traveling quite a bit, so photography was just one of those things that fit perfectly into the puzzle of life
